Self-defense is the foundation and essence of Gracie Jiu Jitsu and it is a key component of all our classes and programs. By learning through the defensive mechanisms of the fight we are able to comprehend and take the proper measures to stay safe at all times, be it during a competitive/recreational match or in situations where we may need to stand up for ourselves and our loved ones.
